Based on my limited knowledge, I think the eee is the better choice at the
moment. If I had 4 bills I'd buy one today (although I'd really like to see
a bit larger screen). It seems more polished and you can install ubuntu (or
xubuntu) on it. There are tutorials on the web. You can also increase the
storage with an additional sd card. Still, it's not much but if you want to
store a ton of stuff you can add a portable hard drive. I think the cool
thing about these though is lightweight web access. With stuff like google
docs, how much do you really need to store?
