[CoLoCo] checking battery health

Dear lazyweb,

I remember reading something once about a cli tool that checks the
status of your battery - i.e. what percentage it charges to, your max
power you are getting compared to what it originally got, etc. You had
to apt-get it and then ran it in a terminal and it gave a good deal of
data. Thing is, I can't find it now. My dad is getting really poor
battery life on his Ubuntu laptop and I want him to check to see if
the battery is just old and not charging or if it could be something
else. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Googling isn't
really helping yet.
