My main interest right now and all along really is FOSS in schools. I think
we need to encourage schools and students to use more FOSS (not necessarily
Linux desktops). To that end, I may try and drag my daughter along and have
her talk about / demo what she uses a computer for and how FOSS and Ubuntu
fit her needs - and by extension many other students' needs. I don't
envision her taking more than 15 mins if I can even convince her to spend a
day hanging out with us. Would anyone find this useful/interesting? My goal
is to groom her for more presentations in the future. I may take her to TIE
next year assuming I get to present again.
