I can check that when I get home but I don't think it's a grub issue. I have
had my share of issues with grub and this doesn't act the same. I also
didn't change grub at all and it does load the kernel (I get the kernel
active message and then the ubuntu boot splash). It does start to boot. I
think I goofed up something with the mdadm --add commands but not sure how
to un-goof it. Of course it could be totally different but nothing else
changed between one boot and the next except the RAID settings.
