No, not that difficult, if a friend were to help. But I don't really know
anything about cron and it seems like there should be a nice tool for this.
The absence is why most people don't do backups.

I must have missed something. What 2 files where you looking for? I think
the drives are fine. It's just that for some reason they are unmounting or
stopping during boot. I can access the data just fine. In fact I just
rsynced the my /home in preparation for an install of hardy.
