[CoLoCo] another poorly written review about Linux

The Everex gOS was taken off the shelf's at Walmart but is still available online, see:

http://www.informationweek.com/hardware/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=206902951&subSection=Processors

I think it was a bad idea in the first place to offer a machine fitted with minimal hardware and a Linux OS in a store like Walmart where probably not even the sales people know what Linux is. The system should never be compared with the currently available windows systems.

For their customers the equation is:
computer=windoze if computer≠windoze than the computer is not good!!

Maybe there was more harm than good done to the Linux community just to make a few bucks. I can imagine that many systems were returned when people found out it was not what they were used to.

Anyway, just read the comments too (including Bill Gates,:)) that says it all.

Well, I said politely. I think he needs a lot of feedback pointing out that
he is off base.
