[CoLoCo] TA SPRING help? [gaming/compiling question]

We'll I am giving up on the compile problem.
But, i never really wanted to compile anyway. I have instead manually
downloaded and installed the .deb packages provided for hardy.

The program seems to run fine. I just need to install the actual game now
(or mods).
I am going to hopefully try to install the "Complete Annihilation" mod. It
looks really cool. The screenshots and videos remind me of Command & Conquer
and some old Mech games fused together. The spring game engine looks like it
might be a really good open source RTS game system.
