You're right, DOH!  But you have to admit its a nice upgrade.  A friend 
of mine has the 17-inch MacBook Pro and it works very well.  It can 
Win32 games like Spore, Elderscrolls IV: Oblivion, and Unreal Tournament 
III very smoothly.  Its possible the new 15-inch might run Crysis, one 
of the most demanding Win32 games out there right now.  If only WINE or 
CrossOver Linux/Mac could run those games without issues we'd all be 
happy, but the best thing would be native versions (Spore is out for Mac 
but I'd love a Linux version).

I agree.  Many analysts believe that Apple needs an inexpensive netbook 
and the Air could have and should have been just that.  They cater to a 
special niche market but Apple needs the stability of the regular market 
too especially with the economy going the way it is.
