Thanks for the info. Since this is my father's computer and he doesn't run
the updates very often, I was thinking the LTS release might be "more
stable" - especially since the release after an LTS seems to be more
experimental than others. Is there any reason to be concerned with 10.10 for
someone who knows next to nothing about running, and especially maintaining,
Linux?
