I'm sorry ;-) My System76 computers have been working fantastic for me,
and would have already come equipped correctly.... You know, just
sayin' Ha Ha

I run a netbook (System76 Starling1) and it runs 32 bit because it has
to. I have an old home built (P4, D50) that runs 32bit because it has
to, both run rock solid. At work, I have a System76 Lemur (Intel I3)
and it runs 64bit, and is every bit as stable. I run flash, wine, etc,
never had a problem.

I use Netbeans whenever possible. It's much more stable. Eclipse has a
tendency to break with too many plugins, and updates. I use Eclipse for
only Android development because the Android guys don't seem to support
Netbeans. Netbeans also does a better job of staying current in the
Ubuntu repositories. PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, as well as your
beloved Python, and my beloved Ruby are all more stable in Netbeans.

Always used whatever came with the system to play background music,
never had a problem, but also never pushed it past very basic stuff.
So, others will be better judges for this one.

Welcome back to the light. I get such a kick out of the people that
"use Apple instead of Microsoft because Microsoft is an evil overlord
and they don't like being told what to run like Microsoft does". I
ditched Apple quickly for that same reason.
