Yeah I did some digging around and it does appear they still do provide
source code (
http://wiki.songbirdnest.com/Developer/Articles/Builds/Contributed_Builds#Linux)
but it is up to you to package it up and install it. Luckily some community
members are doing that for us (

need to use google translate). I might check it out again, but I am
still bitter ;-)
