I would write to Carolyn Rowland <carolyn at cme.nist.gov> directly, if I was
interested. I suggested that some of Jeff's students might work and she
didn't blink -- or didn't appear to... hard to tell in e-mail.  I think a
lot of jobs like that list one way, but if you have an inside track, you
find that the requirements aren't written in stone.
