Just upgraded to 9.04 on a pretty standard Ubuntu install; I do VERY
little customizing. After restart, the machine is FAILING right after it
hits the BIOS: it shuts right back down. This happened a few weeks ago
on a restart (after some update). I truly think it is a HW issue because
I truly can't think of any SW problem I have had. The machine started
out with 7.10 and I faithfully update/upgrade.
After a couple of more reboots it finally starts.
Yup, NOT being anywhere near a PC Tech or Programmer, I am willing to
pay for a couple of hours to have an Ubuntu type look at it.
I am, however, leaving for Nevada May 9. This can be after I get back.
Here is my info:

I live up in Petworth (off GA Ave on Kennedy). This is not an immediate
need, but it is something I cannot take care of myself.
Thanks for letting me panic!
Marti
