I don't know if anyone is familiar with a site called "OMG!UBUNTU!", but I have been following the site for a while and find that they do a very good job of keeping up with Ubuntu related news from both official development channels as well as Launchpad projects and independent software development.  The reporters do a very good job a breaking down or summarizing information.  In fact, recently notable Ubuntu and Canonical developers (like Jono Bacon) have been posting on the site.  Linux video blogger Nixie Pixel has also entered some articles.  Well worth adding to your RSS feed.
