I'm with Robert on this. Most people don't know how most technology-based
tools (e.g., PC, car, tv) work, only how to operate it. The only concern
of the end user is: Does the tool help me get my task done in a
cost-effective or entertaining way? (I throw in "entertaining" as there
are many tools that are actually more complicated than not, but are
endlessly entertaining for some to use. Rider lawn mowers on less than a
1/4 acre of land come to mind.) What 4ormat concluded with IE is that, no,
IE was not a tool that was cost-effective.
