Putting an empty SD card in the slot,
under the monitor, turn display to get it in
should backup in OLPC format.
Then some conversion/ burn on another machine
etc.
Upgrading the machine (fresh install)
to latest version of OS and Activities
would probably clear the user files too,
as Firmware upgrade wipes stuff...
There are others on the list more qualified
than I and one I owe a USB stick
back from the last upgrade.
Not sure what my Saturdays are looking
like yet.
Just biked up past there last night
and did CritMass
(videos on YouTube, off you know the
other account name)
XO-1 are kind of hard to come
by, as are XO-1.5, etc, the Give One
Get One program hasn't run in a long
time... (I'm not a kid anymore,
but have a bike dynohub project...)
OLPCLearningClub.org is probably
the best bet for refurb and redistributing,
local organizer(s) are probably on this list...
