[DC LoCo] GIMP Troubles

Hoary, folks. I was wonder if you could help me out with a little problem I'm having with GIMP. I was using GIMP 2.7 from the PPA until the last update hosed the install. I tried going back to GIMP 2.6 in the repositories, but the program won't run. When I start it in terminal, I get the following:

Gimp: error while loading shared libraries: libgegl-0.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

There's a libgegl-0.0-0 in the repositories, but I don't know about this other one. Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks much.
