[DC LoCo] What (if anything) do we want from our LoCo Team?

Kevin has a pretty good idea what needs to be done, and it isn't a
giant hurdle to jump. Mostly, we need to use the approved Ubuntu
channels to document what we are doing and then apply to the LoCo
council for re-approval. (please confirm or correct, Mr. Cole!)

As individuals (and perhaps in small groups as well) we do a lot of
things to promote Ubuntu in the DC metro area, but we often don't take
the time to share with the LoCo what we are doing. I think that is
the main thing we need to change. I plan to continue meeting with
Kevin on Sunday mornings (we will call it a "work session" rather than
a "meeting" after the new time for the meeting is established), and to
use part of that time to post things like:
http://dc.ubuntu-us.org/node/39
I'm a high school teacher myself, and in addition to running a Xubuntu
lab, I've been handing out used laptops to some of our students with
Ubuntu pre-installed. I'll document that on our website and would
encourage others to do the same. That's probably all we really need
to do.

Since the response has already been encouraging on day one, we will
setup some way to poll the group about the best meeting time when we
get together for our work session next Sunday.

That's not off topic at all. Kevin and I should make sure we get
those snaps linked into our website next Sunday.
