Hi all,

Sadly, it looks like the official SFD swag pack is not going to arrive by
tomorrow AM. So, you're on your own for T-shirts, stickers, etc. We
should get together after they come in, so that those of you who show up
tomorrow might at least get a belated T shirt out of it. I say "might"
because I don't know how many shirts and / or iron-ons will be in the pack.

As I mentioned before, stock Ubuntu LTS 12.04 CD's we got plenty of. Also,
a small number of Ubuntu Server 12.04 CD's. No [A-Z]ubuntu CD's this
go-around.

Paper handouts from last year and two years ago will be available as well.
Someone had a fiendishly clever (or cleverly fiendish) way to keep papers
from blowing away, but my mind's a sieve, and I've forgotten it. I can't
recall if it was somone on this list who proposed it, but it was one of
those "Oh! How obvious! I should have thought of that!" suggestions, which
makes it all the more embarrassing that I cannot recall what it was. So,
I've got a couple of paperweights but not enough. Perhaps the idea was
tying them to the table, which seems as if it may work a bit better than
the weighing down method. And I've got plenty of string.

Weather, at last check is supposed to be good.

Since we haven't really done anything to prove our worth to those who
approve us, unless we justify our existence, this is probably the last
batch of CD's. That said, bring cameras / smart phones if you got 'em and
get some photos of us, just in case there's a concerted effort to plead our
case. If you're a budding novelist, you can also write a saga about
tomorrow's epic adventure, and we can throw it up on a few sites. Pens and
paper to write on also would be welcome, as it's often handy to collect
e-mail addresses, jot down tips for people asking questions, etc.

Nothing else is leaping to mind. Your thoughts / suggestions?
