HL2DM is a (fun) Deathmatch game based on the Source Game Engine. The big
draw is that it features a killer physics system in which any object in the
environment can be re-used for destructive mayhem. IT's free as in beer for
anyone with anything made by nvidia or ati in their PC and the linux client
runs quite well through wine-doors. if youre lacking the requisite hardware
but can run tremulous at about 60 fps (not hard, trust me), the game retails
for $9.99 and the physical purchase in stores also includes Counterstrike
Source and Day of Defeat Source.
Specific to this server, we run a "logravKillbox" server (A big-ass box with
lots of stuff to throw around in 1-12'th gravity) which is pretty awesome
because its open to everyone. Anyone that has this game can, (once we have
the server back up) punch into the console "connect catsceo.servebbs.net"
and tap enter to drop in. We (clanTTM, the main group that plays on it
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/clanttm) occasionally do tournaments and
are always looking for new members. I'm (ttm)ElementC if anyone ever crosses
paths with me online.
Wikipedia summarization done.
