Hi all.

Here's an announcement I drew up.  Feel free to make edits/revisions
and send it back to the list.  Also, this information should probably
also be placed somewhere on the meeting page.

Do you use Ubuntu or another flavor of Linux? Are you simply curious
about free software and alternatives to Windows?  If so, we (the
Ubuntu Iowa LoCo Team) invite you to stop by the Iowa City Public
Library, room E, on Saturday, March 27, from 1:00 to 6:00 P.M. for the
Ubuntu Global Jam.  We'll be joining dozens of other groups from
around the world who will be coming together that weekend to help
improve Ubuntu.

Even if you are only curious, feel free to show up, and bring a
computer or two if you can.  (We'll be testing the upcoming release on
as much hardware as we can get our hands on.)

If you do bring a computer, (either desktop or laptop) please also try
to bring a lan cable, power cord, and, for desktop machines, a
keyboard, mouse, and monitor.  Nevertheless, if any or all of those
items are unavailable, just bring the computer and we'll figure it
out.
