Ah, thanks for that information. I hadn't tried DokuWiki before. I 
should have known better than to make a blanket statement like that. 
Sorry about that.

Still, the Ubuntu wikis do use MoinMoin, and I am pretty sure (but not 
absolutely positive) that MoinMoin does not have password protected areas.
