I just got an e-mail from Heather Fox, the publicist for the publisher
of "The Official Ubuntu Book" and "The Official Ubuntu Server Book",
copies of which we've received and passed out at LoCo events before;
she's looking for volunteer reviews of the book, so I thought I'd pass
her request along for anyone who's gotten a chance to read it, or
who's been looking for a good excuse to read it, and who can share
something praise-ful about it:

As a quick refresher, we were in touch last year after Jono Bacon
blogged about the opportunity for LoCos to receive some complimentary
copies of our publisher's books on Ubuntu. (below is our thread).

Well, I'm writing now because we are preparing to publish the 5th!
Edition of "The Official Ubuntu Book" this summer, and we're in the
process of seeking out quotes to include on the book's updated praise
page.

I'm reaching out to some of the LoCo leaders to ask if they had a
particular member that volunteered to review the book and if so, do
you think he/she might want to submit a quote for our consideration?
If accepted, the person's name/user group or other professional
affiliation would be printed in the book, so a nice little
acknowledgment there :)

Please let me know if you have any one in mind from your group (or,
perhaps, it's yourself!)
