Some installfest stuff

I'm not clear about the structure of the installfest... when people walk
in, what will they do? Will there be some sort of sign-in sheet that
volunteers can look at and try to match themselves with guests who need
assistance, or will it be more chaotic? Also, will only volunteers have
access to whatever discs we'll have burned, or do we have enough to make
it feasible to just put a stack of them at the entrance for anyone to take?
I'm wondering because, with a lot of people, we might want to try to
put together some attempt at keeping order during the installfest...
Also, I was wondering whether perhaps we should consider supplying
copies of OpenDisc (the new name of OpenCD) for people who aren't quite
ready to make the switch to Ubuntu... I have 50 CD-Rs, and I'd be happy
to burn a bunch of them. You can view a list of what's on the OpenDisc
here: http://theopendisc.com/programs/
One last thing. Danny and I were wondering whether there's anything else
we need for the installfest (power strips, monitors, etc.) that hasn't
been supplied yet... we should make a list right now so that people can
sign up to bring anything that's still needed.
