alternative applications

ok i threw together this list 
(http://www.thegeektouch.com/alternatives.odt) of alternative 
applications for ubuntu over the past half hour.  the formating is 
horrible but i don't think ill have time to do a real layout before 
tomorrow.  i tried to stick with ubuntu supported apps as much as was 
prudent and i have used most but not all of them personally.  any 
suggestions is much appreciated.

also note that some of the font is ubuntu-title so if you dont have it 
installed:

|sudo apt-get install ttf-ubuntu-title|
