possibly putting Edubuntu in a local school

Fantastic.

I have an similar goal (ubuntu on school machines) at my school.
Whereas it'd be quite hard for just me to get Edubuntu/Ubuntu on all
the machines (with their permission), I'm the techie for my MCJROTC
unit. We've got 4 machines in room (in addition to the admin machines)
for students to do random school-related stuff on. I'm considering
putting Xubuntu on them. We'll see. Regardless sorry for hijacking
this thread.
