Senior Center Project Update

Two Dell computers with Ubuntu Gutsy were set up at the Randallstown 
Villa Co-op senior facility on Old Court Rd in Randallstown, MD.  on 
January 11, 2008. Both systems were equipped with usb wireless devices 
(Belkin and Ativa models). A Dell Photo Printer was also included and it 
is being shared by the two systems.
An introduction to the systems was conducted with the management staff 
on January 16, 2008. The first of three training sessions for interested 
residents will be held on Friday, January 25 at 2:00 pm. There are 
currently 20 residents that have signed up for training.
Upon completion of the training, the center's management will provide a 
written summation of their experiences with the system. I will also 
provide pictures of the systems, training and residents using the 
systems at a later date.
