Subject: [baltolug] Charm City Linux - Intro to Linux 101

All -

Charm City Linux is tackling the challenge of new adopters by working through the Linux Foundation's new Intro to Linux 101 course together as a group. The class is free online through edX (by auditing) and is self-paced until December - about 40-60 hours of work. This is a great way to get new folks involved through camaraderie and online learning. We'll kick the first few lessons off together and then decide if we want to continuously meet through 'open hack sessions' or the like.

Please help get the word out. We have 15 folks signed up already and the room can hold up to 80 sitting. We'll be meeting at the Advertising.com office in Baltimore City. We could use a few more intermediate+ users to come in and help in a similar capacity to a 'teachers assistant.'
