Okay, here's the first in a series of messages you'll get from me this
weekend!

The Ubuntu LoCo in Germany is doing another run of T-shirts and polo shirts,
and is asking who would like to order some.  Unfortunately I wasn't able to
get one last time around, so I can't give you a personal testimonial, but
I've asked around extensively and absolutely everyone speaks very highly of
the quality of these shirts (probably similar to Lands' End I'd guess).  The
shirts are available in both black and navy blue, with the Ubuntu logo in
the upper left on the front, as shown in the picture at
http://ubuntu.juliux.de/shirt/polo.jpg.  The larger the order, the less
expensive the shipping is per-unit, so it would be really nice if there were
a lot of people interested.  What we'd do is have them all shipped together,
and distribute them locally (perhaps this is an incentive to plan a summer
event, eh?).

On to the prices (with approximate USD conversion) (this is equivalent to or
less than ordering through Lands' end ourselves would be, depending on
volume):
T-Shirts:
Small-XXL: 10,00€  ($15.76)
3X-4X: 12,00€  ($18.92)
Polos:
Small-XXL: 15,00€  ($23.64)
3X-4X: 16,00€  ($25.22)

Shipping:
Each shirt is approximately 200 grams.  Shipping is calculated with a step
function, so we'd want to come as close to filling a level as possible.
Up to 2kg (10 shirts): 12,90€  ($20.33 - $2.23ea if filled)
Up to 5kg (25 shirts): 32,00€  ($50.44 - $2.02ea if filled)
Up to 10kg (50 shirts): 42,00€  ($66.20 - $1.32ea if filled)
Up to 20kg (100 shirts): 62,00€  ($97.72 - $0.98ea if filled)

It would be really great if we could get a bunch of these for our team, so
let me know what you want!  However, I don't want to be stuck buying a bunch
and having people not pay for them and being out a pile out of my pocket, so
please commit to your orders so I can do this again someday!  :)  When the
time comes, I'll be happy to take payments in cash, personal check, or via
Paypal (with a 3% surcharge on the latter), and in doing so will have that
extra push to implement some decent record-keeping for our group so
everything is properly accounted for.

I need to get any order in to Julius before the end of the month, so we need
to get a bit of a jump on this - ask your friends and family, plan Christmas
presents, etc. and let me know what you want, including:
Style (T-Shirt or Polo)
Size (Small through 4X)
Color (Black or Navy)
