[ubuntu-us-mn] What can I do.

You might want to try using a native app rather than Shoutcast in the
browser. I typically use Songbird to listen to internet radio. It has
shoutcast built in so you ought to be able to listen to your stations within
songbird. There are lots of media players to choose from (Amarok, Rythmbox,
Banshee, etc.)
Even though some feel that Flash is junk. I'm glad that Adobe released
Flash Player 10 on Linux at the same time time as the Windows and Mac OSX
versions. Flash can be bloated and slow, but Adobe deserves props for
treating Linux as a first class citizen.
