Hi Fred,
you don't know me, but I am located about 85 miles southeast of the cities
in Wabasha MN. I just wanted to make a comment on you email.
First I have Ubuntu on 4 computers, 2 laptops, 1 server, and 1 desktop. One
of my laptop I only use for the sound system at the church, and I can't get
version 10.** installed on it so I just run 9.04. Next I have 10.04 running
on the server and 10.10 on the one laptop and desktop. On the Desktop I
followed this thread on the forum.
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=9933073&postcount=11
and it worked great. From now on I am going to do my install this way
because I also do a lot of customizing and I don't want to lose everything
and start over. I was surprised how well this worked.
Thought I would just pass this on. I would like to make some of the meeting
up in the cities but it is a far drive for me.
