The problem persists (tho it went away for one session).

I'm using a USB keyboard and mouse. Unplugging and plugging it back in
doesn't seem to make a difference. I think both are USB 2.0, I tried
them in both 2.0 and 3.0 ports.

I've created a web page about the problem and reworked and expanded the
