Hi April,

There's a big Linux and open source conference happening next month in
Charlotte[1], there will also be an UbuCon (day-long series of
presentations about Ubuntu) on the first date of the event (June 12th),
if you are interested and can make it.

If you use IRC, there's a channel specifically for the North Carolina
team, its #ubuntu-us-nc on Freenode's network.
