ubuntu-us-nj Pre-SFD Event Suggestion: How to Help Ubuntu

Hi,

Today, at the InstallFest, we briefly discussed holding an event between
now and Software Freedom Day (SFD), September 15th.  Topic suggestions
were solicited.  I suggest a meeting demonstrating ways to help Ubuntu
and Ubuntu users.  Specifically, I suggest demonstrations on how to
package software for Ubuntu, how to work the Ubuntu Bug Tracking
System (BTS), and how to patch packages.


What'd we need
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. People to demonstrate
2. A room
	a. With Internet
	b. With a Projector (maybe?)
3. People to listen
4. Hacker food/drink would be nice


I'll commit to a presentation on something as long as I don't have to
work with Canonical's Lauchpad.
