This last upgrade to 8.10 effected flash.  Well for me it did.  I
found updating to the alpha 10 version using the following site worked
great.  hulu.com and many other sites are running great and the cpu
usage is back to normal.  Unfortunately, I found switching off a hulu
page and some others crashes firefox.  but the performance improvement
was well worth it for me.
