HEY TEAM
I have been looking at what needs to be done to get more meet-ups going
throughout the state. I cannot do this by myself and require members
from various parts of the state to volunteer. Each member at minimum
would need to choose a location and time to meet regularly. If the group
that meets is motivated enough, they can create additional opportunities
for learning or supporting in their region.
I have noticed that New York City is without a local regional member
coordinating activities. Nathan was listed as regional prior to his
moving out of state. Other major cities should also have local regional
as well. I plan to work with the members that coordinate their local
meet-ups to help them with their success.
If any member is willing to volunteer, let me know. I have already been
working with Matt in Syracuse and hopeful things will happen there soon.
If you are already doing something similar or know of someone who does,
let the list know as well. I will update our resources accordingly.
Together we can bring Ubuntu to the masses!
