[NYLoCo] Possible NYC Gathering for Jaunty.

I might be interested in joining such a gathering, but I'd like to
understand what the plans would be for events, if any? I've been to a
few gatherings before, and it was a bit disappointing, hence my
retreat to lurker on this list.

Also, New York City has (5) boroughs, and Manhattan is easily the
worst one to meet in, because of the costs of hosting a location there
and the costs of getting there even from the other boroughs. It would
be much easier to have a gathering in any of the other (4) boroughs,
Brooklyn or Staten Island, for example.
