Cal,
I have a MBP (what I am typing from). The easiest thing for installing,
is using the disk util to resize, and then install on that partition. I
have tried rEFIt, but honestly holding down 'option' and choosing
'windows' works everytime. Then I simply suspend my computer. And
every few weeks or so (depending on when the new kernel comes out, or if
I have been digging into things that normal users don't :D ) I turn it off.
I am a bit frustrated with Apple, as there are so many great tools that
don't exist, like lspci, and lsusb as well as a few other things.... so
I can't really bring myself to ever use OSX.... though I think it does
have bash, so it wouldn't be as bad as using windows (for me).
After I found the power available in the terminal, I can't really use
any other OS... there is so much you can do typing one command (with
pipes and redirects of course) and so many amazing tools (imagemagick is
so fast for CLI image processing)
