[Ubuntu Oregon] Salem Ubuntu Hour.

*Salem Ubuntu Hour* is scheduled for this Friday, January 20th, where there
will be a gathering of Ubuntu Linux enthusiasts at Broadway Coffeehouse,
located at 1300 Broadway St NE, here in Salem, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.  Join
us for some Ubuntu served with your favorite Java, and a side of Linux
distros.

This month we will be in the Dallas Room, 204. The Dallas room, 204 is
located upstairs towards the back directly across from the elevators.  It
is the bigger of the Free conference rooms on the second floor and seats up
to 10 people comfortably, however it does not have a good Wi-Fi Internet
connection, because it's location is somewhat inside a cubbyhole (i.e Briar
Patch).  So communicating out of the Briar Patch is difficult...  For exact

This month we may have some out of town guests, Che and Linda Dean,
visiting.  Che's first taste of Linux was OpenSUSE (KDE) and Ubuntu 8.04,
I've heard he is into retro gaming, big time, having installed various game
emulators on Ubuntu along with testing Zareason Zeto and SteamOS.  Che has
also been a contributor to the unofficial Ubuntu Manual project, covering
the Thunderbird section for both Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.04.

As a retro gamer myself, I'm looking forward to meeting with them too hear
more about Zareason Zeto and SteamOS.  Please join us in welcoming Che and
Linda to Salem Ubuntu Hour.
