[Ubuntu PA] NTR DualBootImage Project - Grub Boot Options

Looking for the best set of Grub boot options, so if you have installed a
Gnu/Linux Distro on an older desktop, and have had to use any special boot
options, please let us know what special options you have used, and for what
machine specs (processor/video etc.) it helped boot.

Donated pc's come in many different configurations and we are trying to come
up with a scenario that will just work.
