[Ubuntu-US-PA] Re Wireless Problem.

1. I have an ACER 5720 Aspire. 
2. Everything works except the  wireless
3. I am going through a layoff and need the wireless to work and I am
getting discouraged.
4. I downloaded the Atheros driver from the Website but instead of it
being XP it is now Vista and does not work. I have Ubuntu 8.04. I have
not been able to upgrade it yet to 8.10.
5. Should I just reinstall Vista to get the wireless working or would
someone else have any other suggestions. 
6. Any help would be really appreciated.
