New member saying hello

Hi Guys,

I just joined your PNWTeam Ubuntu team and wanted to say hello.  I installed Ubuntu 6.10 last week and was really thrilled with it.  I'm looking to help out with the team, learn about Ubuntu, maybe contribute some packages --- whatever needs to be done.

I notice at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PNWTeam/projects/website that "Create Temp Homepage" has no owner.  I'd like to help out with this or own it if nobody has any objections?  Not sure what next steps would be.

A little about myself: I'm a software engineer, doing mostly backend and algorithmic type stuff.  I'm into skiing, Formula 1 and guitar.

Well, I just wanted to say hi.
