I can testify that I used Rhythmbox before my iPod was broken, and it
worked quite nicely. GTKPod works as well, although it isn't extremely
user-friendly. I'm not sure if Banshee can do iPods, I haven't used
it in a while.

Hey Folks,
I am rebuilding a laptop for a friend and he is interested in trying
Linux. His main uses on it will be for browsing facebook, fantasy
football and playing music. He also needs to transfer music from this
to his iPod.
I don't own an iPod and was wondering if anyone here has a favorite
tool for syncing their iPod? I am aware that rhythmbox can manage
iPods, just seeing if anyone likes one better.
Conor
