Probably.   You can use something like

Also, you can do a disk check to see if it's hardware failure.  One may be
built into your BIOS. If not, you can try one of them off of the UBCD:

I would say other CDs are available, but actually UBCD is a selection of
packages that you *can* get elsewhere, but why not get them all at once?
