Sorry-New Problem

Thanks again for all the great advice. I did download UBCD and created a CD
which I then used to boot. I saved my files and then ran several disk
diagnostics. My disk passed all the hardware tests. However, a second scan
showed my 2 Linux partitions as being corrupted. I think my improper shut
down caused my problem. My plan is to reload ubuntu using the same disk and
see what happens.

Comments anyone?
