IIRC it was to have a contact for the planet.ubuntu-us.org site.  And,
I'm sorry, how many people voted on that?  I don't think even half of
the mentors voted on it.  Do we have logs of this election?

I understand you have since returned, but was I to assume you were
still the Leader/Contact after leaving the team in September?
