SMP kernel needed

Do you just want to create a kernel with the same modules/configuration
as the delivered Ubuntu kernel except the SMP support? You can just coppy
the config file from /boot (i.e. /boot/config-2.6.7-powerpc) to your
kernel source tree and rename it to '.config'.
