But it will anyway, if you follow my advice properly. Create a
separate boot partition on each disk and set it active using the
partitioning tool, then install and reboot.
Eventually you can install a boot loader on each of the other disks so
that if the primary fails then it will still be able to boot - but
that's minor in comparison to having root md.
