Yes, I always do a real install with every release ISO image before
allowing it to be called a release (although I may have to break that
rule once we start building Hoary ia64 images unless I can arrange to
test them remotely).

For Warty, it was just whoever on staff happened to have a Mac; I'm one
of them. For Hoary, you all are. :-)

Looks like the initrd can't find the root filesystem for whatever
reason, often because the module for your hard disk controller was not
correctly loaded. The initrd-tools source package is the place to start
investigating this.
