Ubuntu and screen savers.... :-/

    This is my first posting here, and I'm a Linux N00B, but not a tech one. 
Ubuntu is obviously my first foray into Linux, and so far so good (will try 
to get the Linux box on the net in the next week or so. I'm still on my XP 
box for this list).

    Now with that said, I'd like to point out that the wife and kids thought 
I was nuts for trying out Linux. *UNTIL* they saw all the screensavers! Now 
I'm not allowed to shut that box down, and must have them set to random. 
This has lead to my son and one of my daughters trying out Linux themselves 
(both teens) both love it!

    So no matter what Ubuntu and Gnome's philosophy is, those screensavers, 
just brought two more people into the Linux fold. The fact that I can do 
anything I want with the system, already has me hook line and sinker. Now 
just to get past the learning curve ;-)
